In Site Sagalassos Exhibition, RCAC

The photographs of the excavations of Sagalassos, the “Emperor’s Town”, which is regarded as one of the most important archaeological discoveries in the world are presented in the exhibition. The story of excavations of Sagalassos in Burdur, where first settlement traces date back to 4,200 BC, is told from the objective of the famous Belgian photographers Bruno Vandermeulen and Danny Veys. The transformations during the excavation works of an archaeological city, the relationship between photography and archeology were presented to the visitors along with the details of the excavation area.
